آسٹریلیا کے نوجوان اوپنر فلپ ہیوز کی ناگہانی موت نے کرکٹ کی دنیا کو سخت صدمے میں مبتلا کردیا ہے۔ ایک طرف آسٹریلیا کی قومی اور ریاستی ٹیموں میں فلپ کے ساتھ کھیلنے والے کھلاڑی غم کے شکار ہیں تو دوسری جانب لیگ اور بین الاقوامی کرکٹ میں ہیوز کے ساتھ یا مقابلے میں کرکٹ کے میدانوں کو رونق بخشنے والے بھی اس سانحے پر اظہار تعزیت کررہے ہیں۔
سوشل میڈیا ویب سائٹ ٹوئٹر پر آسٹریلیا، پاکستان اور دنیا بھر کے موجودہ اور سابق کھلاڑیوں، کرکٹ منتظمین اور صحافیوں نے اس موقع پر اپنی دلی کیفیات کا اظہار کیا ہے اور فلپ ہیوز کے اہل خانہ اور دوست احباب کے لیے نیک خواہشات ظاہر کی ہیں۔
پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ نے شارجہ میں جاری پاک-نیوزی لینڈ تیسرے ٹیسٹ کے دوسرے دن کا کھیل موخر کردیا ہے۔ یہ فیصلہ دونوں ممالک کے بورڈز نے فلپ ہیوز کے انتقال کی خبر کے بعد مشترکہ طور پر کیا۔
